For more than 20 years I have heard speakers share the story of the old man and the mule. It took on slight variations each time, but essentially it was the same parable. And once again in 2019, I find myself thinking about this story and how it connects in so many ways to my business and personal life. So this week when I downloaded a new creative tool, I decided to test the tool by telling the story again. It was a good way to learn to use the new creative tool, but also allowed me to once again absorb the story and the lessons to be learned.
