Africa Utility Week

This week I am speaking at the 2017 African Utilities Week conference in Cape Town, South Africa. Utility technology challenges around the world are very similar and when you begin to talk about Information and Communications Technology (ICT), those challenges are still the same whether its cybersecurity, IT/OT convergence, access to spectrum – making different devices to talk to each other. You can't have smart anything without telecommunications; the challenges are the same. ICT is the driving force behind smart communities' global growth.
